“Stella is a phenomenon given the very short time she studied with me. Her voice is extraordinary.
Stella is unconsciously competent and truly one of a kind!”
- Betty Fort
Stella Togo’s background is as diverse as her skills. She began her first career with Nordstrom as a public speaker and representative for the company at nineteen. A breast cancer survivor of nearly two decades, Stella reinvented herself as she authored In Honor of Women, A Revolutionary Approach to Preventing Breast Cancer, (Ballantine Books, 1998 NY. NY.), where she shares findings of ten emotional and psychological commonalities linked with breast cancer. Her success was soon followed by her strong desire to work with book writers and became a literary coach. She has taught book writing to children and adults; currently assists them with the achievement of their dreams for publication and the monetizing of their products.
Always wanting to learn how to sing, and in the midst of following her heart, Stella discovered her soprano voice in 2001 with vocal coach Betty Fort. Ms. Fort performed On Broadway, National Touring Companies, and was a recording artist with RCA Victor Records during the fabulous sixties.
After studying with Betty for about two years, Stella began to perform professionally for audiences. She performs in the United States and in Italy. One of her greatest desires today is to perform and record with the great maestros and orchestras of our time. Her ultimate dream is to use her voice to benefit the underprivileged children of the world…particularly Africa.
